Understanding CPD Points
CPD points are awarded based on the type of learning you undertake:
Category 1: Interactive, non-assessed training (e.g., workshops, seminars, industry events) — 1 CPD point per hour.
Category 2: Structured, assessed learning (e.g., accredited courses by Registered Training Organisations) — 2 CPD points per hour.
You can also earn points by employing apprentices, trainees, or if your business partner undertakes CPD activities. Each year, up to 4 CPD points can be claimed from these activities.
